More lovin', Damn it!

My cat Fenix has a funny habit. He loves for me to pet and sracth and play with him when he's on top of their scratching post. The post is about five foot tall and has a platform on top for sleeping and playing and doing cat things.

Anyway, after giving him a few minutes of attention, when I stop and move to walk away, he SLAPS me! It's sooo obvious that if he could speak English, he'd be saying, "More lovin', Damn it!"

I give him more lovin. But it's never enough, and well, I get slapped for stopping.

Life.

Lana does that to me too.

I've also found that to be very effective.

About Me

My photo
This is me and one of my two cats. His name is Cougar, and he’s an F1 Chausie. A chausie is a new breed of cat under development. Chausies are the result of a cross between a domestic cat (in Cougar’s case, a Bengal) and a jungle cat (Felis Chaus). Cougar’s mom is 8 pounds and his father is a 30-pound jungle cat. He’s about 16 pounds, super intelligent, spirited, and toilet trained. A writer without a cat (or two) is not to be trusted.
