Postalbilities?

Did you ever read a story by Ray Bradbury called "The Crowd?" The people that appear at car accidents? This is the same place where the other people in line at the post office come from. They wait for you to go to the PO office, then appear quickly while you are parking so that they can get ahead of you in line. I know this to be true. I used to be a member of the...."crowd."

I don't remember "The Crowd" -- I'll have to look it up. Bradbury at his best has few peers.

As for your lapsed membership, that's a relief! Those dudes freak me out. If you ever fall off the wagon, try to hang with the amusement park crowd or the paint store crowd, or even the grocery store 10-items-or-less crowd. The post office crowd -- that's just sick.

About Me

My photo
This is me and one of my two cats. His name is Cougar, and he’s an F1 Chausie. A chausie is a new breed of cat under development. Chausies are the result of a cross between a domestic cat (in Cougar’s case, a Bengal) and a jungle cat (Felis Chaus). Cougar’s mom is 8 pounds and his father is a 30-pound jungle cat. He’s about 16 pounds, super intelligent, spirited, and toilet trained. A writer without a cat (or two) is not to be trusted.
