Where was your conscious...

Where was your consciousness,

And what did you do with all those letters

you wrote to yourself,

but could not address?

AniDiFrancoCanon.jpgYep, I'm listening to Ani DiFranco as I write this. I'm listening to her career retrospective called Canon. It's a 2-CD collection that spans her career so far. There must be 35 songs in all, but it just scratches the surface of her particular genius...every song in the collection includes passages like the above, that I totally love and wish I had written. Every freakin' song.

Yep. I'm enamored.

P.S. I'm listening while I'm doing ROTE work for the amazing vanishing job -- converting a document from one template to a newer template. In FrameMaker it truly sucks...even if you like FrameMaker, I promise you, after converting a book, you no longer will. It sucks that freaking bad.

A cannon shooting doves. Now that's something you don't see every day.

If only that was the way it really worked...

About Me

My photo
This is me and one of my two cats. His name is Cougar, and he’s an F1 Chausie. A chausie is a new breed of cat under development. Chausies are the result of a cross between a domestic cat (in Cougar’s case, a Bengal) and a jungle cat (Felis Chaus). Cougar’s mom is 8 pounds and his father is a 30-pound jungle cat. He’s about 16 pounds, super intelligent, spirited, and toilet trained. A writer without a cat (or two) is not to be trusted.
