Blind Taste Test Reading #1

So our writer’s meeting just ended, like 3 minutes ago. This was our first blind reading where each of us submitted a story, each of us pulled one from the pile and read it to the group, we clapped, and then when it was all over we had to try to figure out who wrote each story.

At the onset, I bragged, stating that I knew I could figure them all out. And guess what, I did. But man, I was only sure on four of them, the other four were difficult. One other member got a perfect score, but everyone else got two or more incorrect.

It was a lot of fun and we’re already talking about whether or not we’re going to do it for our next reading. It’s likely, but reading out own stuff is also fun.

About Me

My photo
This is me and one of my two cats. His name is Cougar, and he’s an F1 Chausie. A chausie is a new breed of cat under development. Chausies are the result of a cross between a domestic cat (in Cougar’s case, a Bengal) and a jungle cat (Felis Chaus). Cougar’s mom is 8 pounds and his father is a 30-pound jungle cat. He’s about 16 pounds, super intelligent, spirited, and toilet trained. A writer without a cat (or two) is not to be trusted.
