Social Networking for Book Lovers!

Forget about MySpace, there's a new kid in town called LibraryThing (www.librarything.com). It's a social networking site for book lovers and its very, very cool. The way it works is that you create a library of the books you own (data is pulled in from Amazon and other sites) and then you can choose a book and see which other users have the same book in their library. Check out what's on their shelves and find other great reads.

Despite still being in Beta, the site rules. If you love books, you will love this site. Sign up while your name is still available! Oh yeah, I'm slowly building my library and my user ID is cliffbrooks. See you in the virtual library!

Hi Cliff,

Can you email me at dkshort (at) gmail (dot) com please? I can't find any contact info to email you privately and don't want to post publicly. Just wanted to ask you a question. Thanks! :)

About Me

My photo
This is me and one of my two cats. His name is Cougar, and he’s an F1 Chausie. A chausie is a new breed of cat under development. Chausies are the result of a cross between a domestic cat (in Cougar’s case, a Bengal) and a jungle cat (Felis Chaus). Cougar’s mom is 8 pounds and his father is a 30-pound jungle cat. He’s about 16 pounds, super intelligent, spirited, and toilet trained. A writer without a cat (or two) is not to be trusted.
