I Need a Vacation

My god, do I.

You see, I never dream. Or, I never remember my dreams. End result is the same. Except lately, twice maybe, in the last month, I've dreamed. And kinda remembered it. And it's a very simple dream. In it  I've double-booked myself, and I've scheduled two trips for the same day. I'm pretty sure they're both vacations, but I can't be sure. It's all pretty fuzzy and nebulous, but I do have that lingering feeling that I need to be in two places at once and must decide which plane ticket to "waste". So pretty sure it's two vacations.

Heh.

My subconscious is screaming at me.

I was up some 24 hours yesterday. Went to bed at 2 am. Couldn't get right to sleep. Woke at about 6:40 am, and couldn't get back to sleep. Got up around 9.

The newspaper I edit for lost its layout editor, and I was supposed to take over and do the layout in Adobe InDesign, but then yesterday I was told that some else would do it using Open Office.

Last night, during my few hours of sleep, I dreamed of doing the layout for the newspaper. Very unpleasant dream.

BTW, I have several blogs. How come you never visit?

Me too on the vacation. And soon I'm going to have one. I'm hanging on like a beaten boxer in the 15th round hoping for the bell.

I always like a Christmas season vacation. It's part of my method for getting in the spirit of the season, though I'm not breaking until the week of Christmas.

Still plenty of time to experience the hectic part for the moment.

About Me

My photo
This is me and one of my two cats. His name is Cougar, and he’s an F1 Chausie. A chausie is a new breed of cat under development. Chausies are the result of a cross between a domestic cat (in Cougar’s case, a Bengal) and a jungle cat (Felis Chaus). Cougar’s mom is 8 pounds and his father is a 30-pound jungle cat. He’s about 16 pounds, super intelligent, spirited, and toilet trained. A writer without a cat (or two) is not to be trusted.
