Cat Bliss-takes

IMG_0115My cats love each other, they really do. I have to remind myself of this on bad days when they scream and howl and become a whirlwind of flashing claws. Monday night, they had four brawls between sundown and sunrise, evenly spaced so there was little chance of sleep for me. And Wednesday, Fenix was afraid to use the toilet because he was too vulnerable in that position (Cougar would hear him and come running). And today? Well, a picture is worth a thousand words.

I know one day, things will be back to normal. . . days like today are blissful reminders.

Sounds like they are brother and sister.

Now you know what it's like to be the parent of more than one child. :)

(Or in my case, to have one of my daughter's friends stay for any length of time.)

They are siblings, brothers, and man, do they act like it at times.

About Me

My photo
This is me and one of my two cats. His name is Cougar, and he’s an F1 Chausie. A chausie is a new breed of cat under development. Chausies are the result of a cross between a domestic cat (in Cougar’s case, a Bengal) and a jungle cat (Felis Chaus). Cougar’s mom is 8 pounds and his father is a 30-pound jungle cat. He’s about 16 pounds, super intelligent, spirited, and toilet trained. A writer without a cat (or two) is not to be trusted.
