Hey, who said you could touch my spadix?

I got a call this afternoon and a proposition.

“Hey, a corpse flower has blossomed at Berkeley Botanical Gardens…I told my boss I had a doctor’s appointment, so I’m going to see it. Do you want to go?”

Do I want to go? Jesus, what a question? Heh. Unfortunately, as fate would have it, I couldn’t. No, I’m still unemployed, but I had a lot of crap to do before my writer’s group arrived, so I couldn’t. Now, my writer’s meetings are not to be missed, but how often do you get the opportunity to stop and sniff the decay?

Anyway, Snyergyboy wrote about it on his blog…and I have a feeling pictures, and maybe even video, are just around the corner. Go there, read about his sensual and stinky encounter, and say hello why doncha!

I didn't get pics... but I'm sure synergyboy did. I'll bug him about posting them. Impressive as hell!

About Me

My photo
This is me and one of my two cats. His name is Cougar, and he’s an F1 Chausie. A chausie is a new breed of cat under development. Chausies are the result of a cross between a domestic cat (in Cougar’s case, a Bengal) and a jungle cat (Felis Chaus). Cougar’s mom is 8 pounds and his father is a 30-pound jungle cat. He’s about 16 pounds, super intelligent, spirited, and toilet trained. A writer without a cat (or two) is not to be trusted.
