Sea monkeys, baby! The last shrimp in my EcoPod died. I’ve had the little nippers for like 11 years which, if it isn’t a record, should be. Who would have thought that they could live so long. In the wild, I believe their expected lifespan is like 13.7 seconds.

Note: Illustration is fanciful and not intended to accurately depict EcoPod residents, brine shrimp, or any organism whose sexual identity is tied entirely to whether or not it's wearing a bow in its head cilia.

Wow, that is a long time. Must be some kind of record.

@Charles,

Last year I wrote a story about them... somehow I believe mother nature never intended for them to live anywhere near that long...

About Me

My photo
This is me and one of my two cats. His name is Cougar, and he’s an F1 Chausie. A chausie is a new breed of cat under development. Chausies are the result of a cross between a domestic cat (in Cougar’s case, a Bengal) and a jungle cat (Felis Chaus). Cougar’s mom is 8 pounds and his father is a 30-pound jungle cat. He’s about 16 pounds, super intelligent, spirited, and toilet trained. A writer without a cat (or two) is not to be trusted.
