I've got class!

Okay, I didn't think it was going to happen but it did: I just enrolled in a C++ programming class that begins in two weeks.

I need it. Bad. Career. Personal growth. Fun.

Yeah, you heard me right. Fun. I actually think programming can be fun. Creative in a way.

Class meets four days a week. Cost $77. Book is over $100. Gotta love community colleges ...while you can.

I wanted to take a Dreamweaver course at UCLA Extension -- but the cost was around $800! So I didn't.

I think the high price was partially because the course went toward a Certification in Dreamweaver. I didn't need a certification. I just wanted some help in learning Dreamweaver.

So now I just use it.

It's frustrating, sometimes, because I don't understand CSS or how to use it. But it's there, foisting its Style sheets onto me against my will.

This is me and one of my two cats. His name is Cougar, and he’s an F1 Chausie. A chausie is a new breed of cat under development. Chausies are the result of a cross between a domestic cat (in Cougar’s case, a Bengal) and a jungle cat (Felis Chaus). Cougar’s mom is 8 pounds and his father is a 30-pound jungle cat. He’s about 16 pounds, super intelligent, spirited, and toilet trained. A writer without a cat (or two) is not to be trusted.
